Foreign Service institute provides an accessible online course at no cost that is useful for a variety of learners ranging from k-12 and upper/professional use. When opened, the website offers up to 40 languages of interest. Through practice, one can open resources such as language ebooks, audios, free practice (Ex; pronunciation recorder) and downloadable files in the target language of interest. When accessing each practice guide, you can choose a different course volume (Ex; I chose the Spanish course and was able to choose course volumes ranging from 1-4 that differentiated in Spanish used through Spain or Columbia.) By choosing the Spanish course, I was able to practice from multiple options such as 11 Spanish courses, 18 Spanish ebooks and 383 Spanish audios. This tool can be effective for educators because it serves as an initiating or continuing practice for students who are excelling in any world language throughout their academics. The range of languages and information available to explore for each target language can be used as guided practice and further knowledge of the importance that world languages take throughout the community or within an educational settings.

America's Languages: Investing in America's Languages for the 21st Century, emphasizes the benefit of practicing language learning skills within the United States and how the request for a second or third language can result in future progress regarding educational, professional, research and communal engagement. Not only is the emphasis for foreign language addressed as an important concept, but the knowledge behind this language practice can allow for a continuing improvement community relationships and overall societal, educational and ecumenic well being. This source can be beneficial for educators as it provides an insight on the effects of multiple language use and practice for an individuals internal and external wellbeing. All of which is tied to the progress/ health of the community and world overall.

English as a 2nd language (Collection) This Collection provides the learner with a variety of self learning and research tools. There are multiple areas of interest including History/ culture, pronunciation, vocab, writing skills and grammar; all of which can be learned by choosing any language of interest. Once the educator chooses a language to cover, the course will filter all of the available subjects with many informative links regarding practice skills, general knowledge or. historical background of the language chosen. The learner is also able to learn the importance of the language and how it is incorporated through daily life in many factors. Apart from the self research and learning tools the course may offer, an educator is able to use academic sources such as built in charts or practice exercises that can be used to progress and or begin language practice within an educational setting.

Language Learning in k-12 schools: Theories, Methologies and Best Practices. (Open Access Textbook) This academic source includes 8 in depth modules that introduce Theories, instructional planning and strategies as well as different methods of instruction connected to varying needs (reading and writing). Each module covers a main concept of the importance of language learning and its use throughout academic settings. for example, Module 8, "Culturally Responsive teaching," offers reasoning regarding the importance of language incorporation for educators and students with the importance of cultural responsibility. This module offers multiple tips to help educators understand the need of connecting school curriculum with cultural responsive teaching. By understanding the general information within cultural responsiveness, an educator will be able to include multiple methods of instruction that address a variation multicultural resources. This will produce an increase and positive outcome in student engagement and learning through curriculum because the information being covered/ engaged with offers an insight of many different cultures, norms and languages that construct the world. This change within curriculum can help promote an increase in use/interest of world languages and the rate at which it is practiced.

Foreign Language Teaching Methods (Online Course) is an online course that offers professional development modules for foreign language instruction within a secondary and continuing instruction level. When accessing this course, One can elect from 3 tabs that contain Skill resources (ex: Speaking, writing, listening and reading resources in a language of choice,) Language skills (ex; vocab, grammar, pragmatics and culture ) as well as Classroom Skills- (Classroom management skills, technology and assessments). when navigating through online guide, user is able to choose from module videos of University of Texas staff that demonstrate guided practices within each module. (broken down into 4 lessons or fragments of one module video). Aside from giving important intake in regards to language learning benefits and instruction, this course allows an educator or individual to follow through by seeing demos of instructors and classroom engagement guides)
