Materials For Teaching Sixth Grade History

Materials for promoting EDI teaching and aid in creating lesson plans for a specific target audience and subject. The target audience of this collection is sixth graders studying history. This collection is meant to aid in covering most of the learning content required by California's History (Social Science) Content standards (6.2,6.3,6.4) for sixth graders.

An online collection of both primary and secondary source information covering a wide variety of Ancient Egyptian history. Includes sections that discuss important figures from the past, class structure and the Pharaohs of Egypt, and various religious figures/practices to name just a few. This could serve as a great resource for students to use both in and out of the classroom. The visual aids provided by national geographic are great at hooking in readers and engaging them with the learning content the site has to offer.
