This is an interesting resource to trace back the development of the English Language. It has 8 lessons tracing back the different stages of the English Language in England. I think this would be interesting material to show my students because they can see how much English has changed through out the years. This addresses EDI because English is a changing language and it has many different influences. My students can understand that their contributions that are tied to their communities and their specific dialects are valid forms of English.

This is a very useful and important resource containing different stories, legends, myths by Native Americans. These stories are separated by tribes which I believe is important because it teaches students that Native American tribes are diverse and that we should not be lumping them together. It also addresses EDI because it exposes students to other literature that aren't only canon.

Although the link to this resource says Shakespeare, this is actually another resource to lesson plans, assessments etc. for many subjects and the it's through tes.com. I was interested in this resource as a place to find materials that incorporate EDI to Shakespeare. Many times it it can be difficult for contemporary students to see their own lives reflected in Shakespeares work. tes.com does have many resources on Shakespeare however most of them are not free and it would take some deep digging to find something related to what I am looking for.

91 Ways to respond to literature is self explanatory but I will give it another go. It is a resource primarily for teachers with ideas on how to students can respond to literature. The website is very "old school" but I has many great ideas. I primarily think that this resource can give me some ideas for prompts that will incorporate EDI. I can have students respond to a prompt as if they were a character in the piece of literature for example. This may give them a different understanding or it may make it easier for them to relate to the work.

This resource is an encyclopedia for different mythologies. This is an interesting resource because it has mythologies from different parts of the world, not just what Greco/Roman or norse. Students really enjoy mythology and it would be interesting to study some of these different mythologies. This engages in EDI because I can pick different mythological stories that represent the makeup of my classroom. In this way my students can have an understanding of their culture and feel more engaged in the classroom.

This site has many audio dramatizations of shorts stories by woman. This is an interesting site because it does not provide you with the actual text. I think this site can be very beneficial in a couple of ways. One way it is important is that it introduces students to women writers and it can start a conversation about why women writers are still not as canonized as their male counterparts. The other ways in which this is engages in EDI is because it offers a different way of engaging with literature other than just reading a texts. This may be useful for students who have difficulty reading.
