Annotated List of Instructional Web Sources
The book, Building the American Republic, Volume 2: A Narrative History from 1877, would showcase the years directly after the Reconstruction era. It contains a diverse amount of perspectives and voices. It will showcase the United States in an era that put the nation on an international stage for the dominant economy it has known to become. This book will highlight the efforts of President Rosevelt with the New Deal and Civil Rights Voting Acts of 1975. In the rest of the sources, I have included resources for students to have an inclusive set of sources that emphasize diversity as well. Especially it being Black History Month it is important to includes readings that help make everyone feel included.
