US History, 6th-12th Grade, (Focus on Bipoc/ELL students)

This collection will consist of culturally responsive materials presented through a people first lens & language. Not only will the source material attempt to engage students of differing backgrounds but I will also ensure I use sources that are a mirror of my students. So although I lean heavy on Howard Zinn, a white male, through his site I have acquired sources for both aforementioned groups as well as excellent learning activities for aiding in the teaching of social studies which is really the teaching of critical thinking.
