Emily Dickinson and the Jigsaw Method

I selected four Emily Dickenson poems from the text book "Glencoe Literature: The Reader's Choice -- American Literature" and used the spreadsheet to create a record between the "basic" and "expert" discussion groups. Students wrote about their initial thoughts upon reading the poems, then broke out into specific groups to focus discussion. Then the individuals reported back to the basic group and compared their initial thoughts with that of the focus group.
