Learning Objectives

Students will learn how scientist research ocean currents and events that are related to climate, violent storms such as Hurricanes and when, where and how El Nino and La Nino occur. They will learn what the data collected by the scientists is used for and they will do or observe a lab that illustrates to the students what happens during an El Nino event.
