Problem
1
: a group of unknown point charges all with the same charge magnitude
are placed randomly in the applet window.  Given the charge magnitude,
determine the net charge. A test charge is provided to determine the
charge signs. Note: each student gets a different number of charges
to work with (as you can check by displaying the problem in a new browser
window. Because of the random placement, two charges occasionally fall on
top of each other. This is not a problem, since you have to move the
charges around to work the problem.

Problem
2
: a group of unknown point charges are placed randomly in the applet
window. The charge magnitudes come in two values, and each value may be
positive or negative. A test charge is provided to determine the charge
signs and magnitudes. See the note in problem 1. Determine the net charge.

Problem
3
:  A known charge and an unknown charge are separated by a known
distance. Use the test charge to identify the unknown charge.
